Hops For California is a new Imperial Hazy IPA brewed for this year’s California Craft Brewers Association collaborative brew, which is a fundraiser to support the California Craft Brewers Association and the important work they do to support craft breweries in California. We built a simple grain bill of pale malt, wheat malt, and honey oats, adding dextrose to achieve our high ABV target without excessive sweetness. A trio of modern German hops in the whirlpool adds a base of soft fruity hop character, while a huge double dry hop with Strata, Galaxy, and Simcoe adds a massive stone fruit, berry, and tropical flavor.

Fun Facts: Brewers from all over the state are currently releasing their CCBA collaborative brew beers for California Craft Beer Week. While the style is up to each brewer, you might see similar-looking labels with the CCBA logo.
