Brambling Bones - Wild Ale with White Grapes, Cherries, Black Currants and RaspberriesSold Out
This complex wild ale was made by blending five separate wild ales with unique characteristics of their own. We begin with the very special guest beer, Rare Vos, a Belgian amber ale sent to us by Brewery Ommegang. This beer was then aged in barrels on Barrelworks flora for up to 16 months. This beer sets a beautiful canvas for the bright fruit character of our next additions. Bretta Rosé Wild Ale and Liefmans Cuvée Belgian Style Ale, also aged in barrels from our cellar, lend the red fruit flavors of raspberry and cherry, perfect for this time of year. Undercurrents Wild Ale adds to the character of our blend with a significant addition of black currant depth. The hops in our wild pale ale, Whale Rock - a beer brewed with local sauvignon blanc grape juice and dry hopped with Hallertau Blanc hops - balance out the fruit nicely, resulting in a bright beer perfect for sharing at your table.
